PermaBase de América manufactures lightweight cement boards. The company was founded as a joint venture between Panel Rey S.A. and National Gypsum Company. The construction of its production plant in El Carmen, Nuevo León began in 2008, and manufacturing started in 2009 to serve the Latin American market.
