Turkmex, in co-investment with Çinkom, began operations in early 2017. It is Turkey’s newest Waelz oxide facility dedicated to recovering zinc from industrial by-products.
Located at Aliağa, Izmir region, it is a major processor of Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) steel dust.
